Even in this snowy area, spring is surely arriving. Sun light is increasing the power, snow is melting day by day. However over meters of snow is in the mountains and in the skiing areas, many people were enjoying the last runs in the gorgeous views.
この雪国も、どんどん春めいてきました。陽射しが強くなり、雪は日に日に溶けていっています。それでも山々やスキー場には何メートルもの雪があり、多くのスキーヤーがシーズン最後の滑りを楽しんでいます。
昨日、部屋の雪囲いを外しました。屋根からの雪で2階部分まですっぽり埋まるので、その雪で窓が割れないように、板でがっちりと窓を守っていました。この雪囲いも、もう必要なさそうです。外すと一気に外の光が入り込んできます。
Yesterday, I removed boards for protecting windows from snow. Snow sometimes covers half of our house, so we need to protect windows from the pressure of snow. Now, the boards may not be necessary. Warm and bright light was coming into the room after the removals.
